Absorbency at a glance
ML PER PADChoose a size to compare capacity across grades.
The range
Four grades, one construction
Every grade shares the same five-layer build. What changes is the fluff pulp and super absorbent polymer in the core — which is what capacity, and price per pad, actually track. 60 × 45 cm is available to order alongside the four standard sizes below.
Size range — 60 × 90 cm
Light absorbency for surface protection — treatment tables, changing mats, furniture, pet care and short procedures. Waterproof backsheet on every pad.
Light · 100 – 300 ML| Size (cm) | Weight | Absorbency | Colours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 × 40 | 30 g ± 5% | up to 100 ml | |
| 60 × 60 | 40 g ± 5% | up to 150 ml | |
| 60 × 90 | 50 g ± 5% | up to 200 ml | |
| 60 × 120 | 65 g ± 5% | up to 300 ml |
Moderate absorbency for daytime protection, examination couches, clinics and transfers — the highest-volume grade in most tenders.
Moderate · 250 – 500 ML| Size (cm) | Weight | Absorbency | Colours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 × 40 | 35 g ± 5% | up to 250 ml | |
| 60 × 60 | 45 g ± 5% | up to 300 ml | |
| 60 × 90 | 55 g ± 5% | up to 400 ml | |
| 60 × 120 | 70 g ± 5% | up to 500 ml |
Heavy-duty capacity for daily ward and residential care use, where a full-shift pad is the standard but cost per bed still matters.
Heavy · 500 – 1000 ML| Size (cm) | Weight | Absorbency | Colours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 × 40 | 40 g ± 5% | up to 500 ml | |
| 60 × 60 | 50 g ± 5% | up to 600 ml | |
| 60 × 90 | 60 g ± 5% | up to 750 ml | |
| 60 × 120 | 75 g ± 5% | up to 1000 ml |
The heaviest core in the range. Specified for overnight incontinence care, post-operative beds and procedures where changes need to be infrequent.
Maximum · 600 – 1250 ML| Size (cm) | Weight | Absorbency | Colours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 × 40 | 45 g ± 5% | up to 600 ml | |
| 60 × 60 | 55 g ± 5% | up to 750 ml | |
| 60 × 90 | 65 g ± 5% | up to 1000 ml | |
| 60 × 120 | 80 g ± 5% | up to 1250 ml |
Plan your volume
How many pads will you actually get through?
Enter your beds or residents and how many pads each one needs per day. We convert it to a monthly and annual figure, with a low and high scenario either side — because real usage never lands exactly on the plan.
Start from a setting
Months are calculated at 30.4 days, so the annual figure is exactly 12 months.
Standard scenario
padsEstimates only — send these numbers as they are and we will quote per grade and size within two business days.
Typical starting points: hospital wards run around 3 pads per occupied bed per day, senior residential care 4, day clinics 1.5, and home care clients 3.5. Adjust to your own records — your usage data beats any benchmark.
Construction
Five layers, topsheet to backsheet
The same build across every grade. The numbering follows the order a fluid meets the pad — topsheet first, waterproof backsheet last.
Cross-section, not to scale
Nonwoven topsheet
Soft, hypoallergenic and latex-free. Passes fluid straight through instead of holding it against the skin.
Acquisition & distribution layer (ADL)
Spreads fluid across the width of the core so capacity is used evenly rather than pooling.
Virgin fluff pulp
The bulk of the core. Takes the initial volume quickly and gives the pad its cushioning.
Super absorbent polymer (SAP)
Locks fluid into a gel under pressure, so the surface stays dry when a patient lies on it.
Polyethylene backsheet
100% waterproof film. Protects the mattress, trolley or seat underneath and contains odour.
Who we supply
One product, eight buying patterns
Each sector buys a different part of the range. Tell us the setting and we will quote the grades that fit it.

Hospitals
Ward beds, theatre and recovery, examination couches, sample collection. Volume-led and tender-driven — usually Super and Ultra.

Senior & residential care
Overnight incontinence management with dignity. Ultra and Ultra Plus on standing orders with predictable monthly volumes.

Home care
Supplied through pharmacies and medical retailers in smaller counts, often as a private-label consumer pack.

Maternity & infant care
Delivery, post-partum and changing. Deluxe Plus and Super in the smaller sizes.

Distributors & wholesalers
Full-container and part-container programmes across the range, with your own carton marking.

Veterinary & furniture protection
Deluxe Plus as a surface protector for clinics, grooming, travel and upholstery.

Pharmacies
Chains and independent pharmacies selling consumer packs over the counter — small formats, shelf-ready packaging, private label available.
Retail & e-commerce
Webshops, marketplaces and retail chains selling online and in store — supplied ready to sell, in your brand or ours.
Private label
Launch your own underpad range
We manufacture and pack to your specification: your artwork, your pack counts, your barcodes, your language set. Grades can be adjusted to a target capacity and price point rather than forced into our standard four. From artwork to first container — one supplier.
Example pack formats — your artwork replaces the placeholder
Artwork & pack design
Consultation on positioning and pack format, then production-ready artwork applied to poly bags and cartons.
Specification control
Set your own weight and capacity targets per SKU. We confirm them against sample runs before production.
Supply & logistics
Storage, shipping and delivery available, subject to minimum order quantity. Lead times are confirmed with your quotation.

Who we are
The underpad brand of Oredja
Padshealth exists for one reason: to let a buyer defend an underpad decision with numbers. Not with an adjective on a pack, not with a brand everyone already buys — with a tested capacity, a documented specification and a delivery that arrives when it said it would.
What we do
From Dubai, United Arab Emirates, we supply disposable underpads wholesale, in bulk and under private label to hospitals, care groups, distributors and retail brands worldwide, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East (GCC) and the United States. Four absorbency grades, five sizes, three colours — and the option to build a grade to your target instead of ours.
How we source
We do not own a factory, and we think that is an advantage. Production is matched to the destination market rather than to a single plant, so buyers are served on the shortest reliable route rather than the route a single factory would impose.
Who we serve
Procurement teams running tenders, care groups managing standing orders, national and regional distributors, pharmacy chains, and retail brands building a continence range of their own. Different volumes, one requirement: the pad has to be the pad that was specified.
What we hold to
Our mission
We publish what our pads do. Then we deliver exactly that.

Insights
Understand the market before you buy
Short reads for buyers — the size of the market, the real economics of a pad, and what to check before signing a supply contract.
How big is the underpad market?
Estimates vary with how the category is drawn, but disposable underpads sit inside a global incontinence-care market worth several billion dollars a year, growing at mid single-digit rates.
The drivers are structural. Populations over 65 are growing faster than any other age group, incontinence prevalence rises with age, and care is shifting from hospitals to residential and home settings — all three increase pad consumption.
Regionally, Europe and the United States are the largest markets. The Gulf is among the fastest-growing, backed by new hospital capacity and expanding elderly-care provision.

Why the cheapest pad is rarely the cheapest
An underpad protects things far more expensive than itself: mattresses, linen cycles, nursing time and skin integrity.
An under-specified pad fails in service — more changes per shift, more laundry, more skin complications — and those costs land in budgets nobody links back to the pad.
Specifying by tested capacity turns the purchase into a controllable line: match millilitres to the change interval, and both waste and risk fall.
Five checks before you sign an underpad contract
One — capacity in millilitres per size, in writing. Two — weight in grams with its tolerance, so the sample can be verified against the contract.
Three — the size mix that fits your beds, not a default carton. Four — waterproof backing coverage and top-sheet material, latex-free confirmed.
Five — a sample run validated before volume production, with the specification attached to the contract. If a supplier resists any of the five, that tells you something too.
Case studies from delivered programmes will be published here as they complete.
Quality
What we hold ourselves to
Every delivery is checked against the published specification. The pad you approve as a sample is the pad that arrives on the pallet — same weight, same absorption, same construction.

Certified quality management
Manufactured under certified quality management systems, across all our production partners, audited per programme.
Raw material traceability
Fluff pulp, SAP, non-woven and film from established suppliers with documented specifications per lot.
Batch verification
Weight and absorption checked against the published specification, within the stated ± 5% tolerance.
Regulatory documentation
Product files and market-specific compliance documents prepared per destination and shared during supplier qualification.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask first
What exactly is a disposable underpad?
A waterproof pad placed under a patient to absorb leaks, reduce odour and support hygiene and infection-control routines. Used most often for incontinence care, but also for procedures, sample collection, childbirth, transfers and general surface protection. Also called bed pads, chux or chucks pads in North America — the 60 × 90 cm size corresponds to the US 23 × 36 in standard.
Which sizes, colours and grades are available?
Sizes: 60 × 40, 60 × 45, 60 × 60, 60 × 90 and 60 × 120 cm. Colours: blue, green and white. Grades: Ultra Plus, Ultra, Super and Deluxe Plus — and grades can be customised to your target specification on request.
How do I choose a grade?
Match capacity to the change interval. Overnight and post-operative use points to Ultra Plus or Ultra; daytime, clinic and examination use to Super; surface and furniture protection to Deluxe Plus.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on grade, size and whether the order is private label. Tell us the SKUs and annual volume and we will come back with MOQ and price per pad. info@oredja.com
How do I get prices?
Send us the grades, sizes and annual volume you are considering — through the form or at info@oredja.com. You receive a per-pad quotation, MOQ and lead time within two business days.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Consultation and samples are free. Use the form below and tell us which grades and sizes you want to evaluate.
Where are the pads manufactured?
Production is matched to the destination market. Manufacturing site, shipping origin and lead time are confirmed with your quotation, together with the compliance documents for your market.
Are underpads also called bed pads, chux or chucks?
Yes. Disposable underpads are known as bed pads, chux or chucks pads in North America, alèses in France, Krankenunterlagen in Germany and salvacamas in Spain. They are the same product: an absorbent pad with a waterproof backsheet.
Does PadsHealth supply distributors and international buyers?
Yes. PadsHealth supplies hospitals, healthcare groups, distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, retailers and private-label brands worldwide. Oredja Goods Wholesalers LLC is headquartered in Dubai; the commercial market is international.
Can procurement teams submit an RFQ, RFP or tender?
Yes. Send your RFQ, RFP or tender documents through the enquiry form (select "Tender / RFP" or "Wholesale quotation / RFQ") or to info@oredja.com. We respond with a per-pad quotation, specifications and the compliance documentation required for your market.
What should an underpad RFQ include?
Grade or target capacity in millilitres, size(s), colour, estimated monthly or annual volume, destination market, packaging requirements (bulk or private label) and any compliance documents you need. The volume calculator on this page helps you estimate quantities.
What compliance documentation is available?
Product files and market-specific compliance documents — including CE and FDA documentation from our manufacturing partners — are prepared per destination and shared during supplier qualification. Requirements vary by market; tell us yours and we confirm what applies.
